The Honeygirl Lounge Set is a collaboration with Lyrical Fabrics, designed specifically for cotton pointelles and rib knits without spandex. This feminine set thoughtfully pairs a fitted camisole top with a relaxed elastic-waist bottom for a stylish and comfy look.
Inspired by the cute camisoles we wore as children, View A top has a precious ruched detailing by the bust. View B has a classic scoop neck. Both views are fitted throughout, with both cropped and hip length hems. The relaxed bottom sits at your natural waist and has a gathered waistband with lots of ease for extra comfort. The shorts have a slightly curved tulip hem while the long pants have a straight hem. Optional buttonholes are marked if you opt to add a waist tie. When putting on your finished Honeygirl set for the first time, the fabric will take some time to relax to the intended fit—usually about an hour.

FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS
The camisole is fitted and designed for low recovery knits. The best examples are pointelle knits, cotton double knits, and rib knits with less than 4% spandex content. It will not work well with high spandex knits. Because the bottoms are quite relaxed, they can be made with many lightweight fabrics with good drape, in both knits and wovens. You can make the bottoms in cotton jerseys, cotton voile, viscose, and silk under 6 oz/sq yard or 205 GSM.

I finally made this up in a lovely pointelle from Lyrical and am wearing it as I type. So freaking cute and stylish and comfortable all at once. As always with Paradise, great drafting, everything matched up perfectly. Sizing is spot on, and I love the close but comfy fit of the top and the cool loose pants. Finally something I don't mind opening the front door in.... sister has begged me for a set, and she'll get one, after I make myself another!

This pattern is so gosh darn sweet. I have made 4 sets since I got the pattern about a month ago for 4 different people all in different sizes (some between sizes) and overall the pattern has been fantastic. The only thing I have noticed on all four sets was the crotch was rather long even on the 5'8 person I made it for. No biggy, was able to shorten the crotch easily in all cases and now note is when I am cutting for a new set. The collab with Lyrical was also great, the fabric from lyrical is perfect for the pattern.

So sweet!

Really love the look of this and the design, especially how carefully it is laid out to reduce fabric waste! I wish it was available in physically printed form to purchase. The top fits snugly and the straps are set perfectly to accommodate both wide and narrow shoulders! I loved the instructions on how to do a scalloped edge. The shorts are VERY high rise, and capacious, so much so that if you sleep on your side with your legs curled up, the fabric pools away and you end up quite exposed. I plan to reduce the rise and add a little the inseam and make plenty of these!

Mixed feelings

I immediately wanted to buy this pattern when I saw it come out because it looks so cute. The top came out super cute and I loved it but I found the shorts so uncomfortable that I ended up taking them apart. The shorts are really loose and baggy and I didn't like the shape of them and how short the inseam was.
