Honeygirl Tee
Honeygirl Tee
Honeygirl is a collaboration between Paradise Patterns and Lyrical Fabrics to make the perfect pointelle tee sewing pattern. The Honeygirl Tee is a comfortable, fitted t-shirt designed specifically for cotton pointelles. Inspired by the shrunken tees of the 90’s, View A is a baby tee featuring a chunky crew neck with short cap sleeves and a cropped length. View B has long sleeves, a scoop neck, and a hip length hem. The two sleeve lengths have their own pattern files with separate bodice and sleeve pieces so that the fit is just right. You can mix and match the necklines and shirt lengths however you like to build even more variations for your wardrobe.

I made the honey girl t dress. It was a treat to sew and rather than binding the neck and sleeves I chose a lettuce edge. Really fast and I get compliments every time i wear it, so I'm going to be making another. Very flattering silhouette!
I made the long sleeved scoop a while ago and immediately cut out and made another, then summer came. Now that it's cooling down, they were the first tops I reached for, and then I had to make the loungewear set stat. I was so impressed with everything here. Instructions, drafting, sizing... next up is the dress extension which I know will be another winner.
Pretty shirt
I‘ve sewn the Honeygirl Tee thrice so far, twice for myself and once for a friend. Its absolutey wonderful and a great staple piece. The only thing I‘d suggest is adjusting the sleeve drafting around the biceps. It‘s way too small, I had to size up for both me and my friend.
I made the cropped crew neck and it instantly became my favorite tee shirt. I plan on making every variation of this shirt and a couple duplicates in different colors, it's extremely comfortable and wears beautifully. I've also bought the dress extension.
